The tree is vigorous, characterized by a spreading growth habit and strong wood. The leaves are large, oval, with a brownish-green upper side and a light green underside. The variety is demanding regarding soil fertility and moisture levels, does not tolerate heavy clay soils well, and enters the fruiting stage slowly.

The fruits are oblate-shaped with a yellowish-green skin covered with russeting. The flesh is yellowish, firm and tender, with a wine-sweet taste and slight astringency. It is a winter-maturing variety, possesses high frost hardiness and immunity to scab, and flowering is self-fertile.
