The variety forms a vigorous tree with a high crown. The variety is triploid; the onset of fruiting occurs relatively late, after which the tree produces good yields. The plant possesses a certain degree of winter hardiness, although it may be susceptible to scab in southern regions.

The fruits are of a late-maturing period and are harvested from the end of September; they can be stored until January–May. The apples have a yellow-green ground color with an orange-red blush. The firm and juicy flesh has a bittersweet taste with an aroma reminiscent of muscat grapes. Used for fresh consumption and in culinary applications.
