The variety is a seedling, also known by the synonym Summer Pearmain. The ripening period depends on the climate and rootstock: on dwarf rootstocks, the fruits are ready for consumption in late August, in other cases — in September. The apples are capable of storage for several months.

The fruits are medium to large in size. The ground color of the skin is greenish-yellow, the overcolor is red, uniform with faint stripes, covering about half of the surface. The flesh is moderately juicy, moderately acidic, with a slight sweetness and a weakly expressed aroma.
