The variety is the result of crossing Royal Gala and Red Delicious varieties. The fruits have an elongated heart shape, and their skin is covered with a pink-red blush or stripes on a yellow background, occupying about 40% of the surface.

The flesh of the fruits is white, dense, very crisp, and juicy. The taste is characterized by high sweetness without pronounced acidity. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, in salads, and desserts.

The variety possesses good storage characteristics, however, it can be susceptible to brown rot. Storage success depends directly on humidity and temperature control in the facilities.
