The tree is of moderate or medium growth with an upright-spreading crown, bearing fruit on spurs. The variety possesses ornamental traits: the flowers have a purple hue, young leaves have a reddish coating, and red spots may be present on the inner bark.

Fruits are of medium or above-medium size, round-conical or round in shape. The skin is yellow-green, covered with an intense dark red or dark burgundy blush. The tender and soft flesh often contains red or pink spots and veins. The variety is of summer maturity and is not intended for long-term storage.

The fruits have a sweet-and-sour spicy flavor and are used in cooking, for the preparation of juices and cider. The variety is self-incompatible, requires pollinators, and is resistant to canker. The intensity of the flesh coloration depends on climatic conditions, in particular, cool nights.
