Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of the Saturn and Braeburn varieties. The tree has medium vigor, an open crown type with short fruiting formations, and belongs to type III, analogous to Golden Delicious. It is characterized by early onset of bearing and regular yields, maturing 10 days after Golden Delicious.

The fruits have a caliber of 70/80 mm and an orange-red overcolor on 3/4 of the surface. The flesh is tender and juicy, the taste is sweet with a hint of acidity. In a standard refrigerator, the fruits can be stored until January-February; in controlled atmosphere conditions, until April.

The variety possesses genetic resistance to scab due to the presence of the Vf/Rvi6 gene. In cold climate conditions, it may show susceptibility to russeting. The variety is suitable for professional and organic production.
