The tree is of the weak-growing type; with age, growth slows down significantly, and the crown becomes sparsely branched. The plant is demanding in terms of growing conditions, requiring fertile, moderately moist soils and the use of vigorous rootstocks.

The fruits are medium to large in size, have a golden-yellow ground color with a red blush and smooth skin. The fruit flesh is juicy and firm, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a mild aroma. The variety is susceptible to scab, powdery mildew, and fruit tree canker.

Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in July – August. Due to uneven ripening, multiple harvests are required. The shelf life of the fruits is short.
