The variety belongs to the group of bitter-sweet cider apples used in cidermaking. Cider from these apples has distinct notes of cloves. The tree is characterized by weak growth vigor and can act as a pollinator for other varieties. The variety is demanding of soil fertility and requires magnesium fertilization; the average yield is about 30 tons per hectare.

Flowering occurs in mid-May, and harvest in mid-November. The fruits have a flattened shape and an average weight of about 44.5 grams. The variety shows high susceptibility to scab, canker, and fire blight of shoots and flowers; however, due to late flowering and sparse foliage, the risk of scab infection may be moderate.
