The tree is medium-vigorous or vigorous with a large, wide-spreading crown and strong branches. The variety is suitable for cultivation in standard or half-standard form. Trees are resistant to diseases, but show susceptibility to powdery mildew.

Fruits are medium to very large, having a flat-round ribbed shape. The skin is smooth, turning light yellow when ripe with a bright red blush or stripes. The flesh is yellowish-white, moderately juicy and aromatic, possessing a distinct sweet-and-sour taste.

Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in mid-October, consumer maturity from December to May. The variety is universal, suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing. It is characterized by high yield at a mature age, a tendency to biennial bearing, and poor qualities as a pollen donor.
