The variety is a chance seedling obtained around 1949. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and regular average yield. It belongs to the early summer maturity group, with fruits ripening from mid-August to early September.

The fruits are small to medium in size, round in shape, and yellow-green in color with a bright red blush. The flesh is creamy white, sometimes with a pink tint, firm, juicy, with a sweet taste and acidity. The variety is intended for fresh consumption or making sauces; long-term storage is not intended.

The plant possesses relative resistance to scab and powdery mildew. At the same time, increased susceptibility of the variety to apple canker and root rot is noted.
