Variety of Swiss origin from the canton of Thurgau, known as a chance seedling. The fruits are medium to large in size, conical or spherical in shape, and have a dark red marbled color. The flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy, possessing a tart, spicy, wine-sweet taste with notes of nutmeg and strawberry.

The variety is late-maturing: harvest maturity occurs in October, consumer maturity from November, and storage is possible until March. The tree is hardy, distinguished by good vigor, resistance to diseases, and the ability to grow at altitudes up to 1000 meters. It prefers rich soils and requires regular pruning for crown formation.
