The variety is the result of crossing James Grieve and Cortland varieties. The plant is medium-sized, with a branched crown and spreading growth habit. Fruits are formed on short shoots, both singly and in clusters.

The fruits are round in shape without pronounced ribbing. The ground color of the skin is whitish-green, the overcolor is in the form of a light pinkish-red blush. The skin is smooth, of medium thickness, with moderate russeting and a faint waxy coating. The peduncle is long, of medium thickness or thick. The flesh is yellowish, of soft or medium-firm consistency.

The variety belongs to the early-winter group and is intended for fresh consumption.
