Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Granny Smith × (X2042 × Reinette Clochard). The tree is characterized by high vigor and an erect crown type, while having a low branching capacity. The flowering period is early. Harvesting takes place in the second ten-day period of October.

The variety carries the Vf resistance gene to apple scab, but shows sensitivity to rosy apple aphid and fruit sunburn. The fruits are medium to large in size and have dense, juicy flesh with a sweet and sour taste. Under normal cooling conditions, the fruits can be stored for up to 5–6 months.

To ensure pollination, the varieties Arlet, Reine des Reinettes, Akane, Red Delicious, Delbard Jubilé, Querina or Pitchounette are recommended. Due to the structure of the crown, the variety requires careful training to protect the fruit from sunlight exposure.
