The tree is vigorous, long-lived, with a wide, highly rounded crown, reaching 3–5 meters in height. Fruits range from medium to very large, round or slightly conical, ribbed. The skin is smooth, yellow-golden in color with a red striped or diffused blush and noticeable subcutaneous dots.

The fruit flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, firm and juicy, possessing an aromatic sweet-and-sour spicy taste. The variety is a winter one: harvesting of fruits occurs in October, consumer maturity arrives from December to March-April. The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, and processing.

The variety is distinguished by high hardiness and resistance to scab and powdery mildew, however, it can be affected by canker on damp, heavy soils. It enters into bearing relatively late, the yield is high but can be periodic. The variety is triploid and cannot act as a pollinator for other apple trees.
