The variety exhibits vigorous growth at a young age, which later changes to moderately vigorous. Depending on the rootstock type and pruning, the tree height can vary from 2 to 8 meters. The variety is undemanding to soil conditions and tolerates harsh climates well, including mountainous areas.

The fruits are large, flattened, and irregular in shape. The skin is yellow-green, turning yellow, sometimes with a red blush, and has an oily surface. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a distinct aroma and high sugar and acid content. Harvesting maturity occurs in October; the fruits can be stored until May.

The variety is considered universal: it is used for both fresh consumption and processing into juice or cider. The apple tree is a good pollen donor for other varieties. Regular heavy pruning is recommended for proper crown formation.
