The tree is vigorous with a spreading, sparse, vase-shaped crown. A characteristic feature is the tendency of shoots to droop in the second year of growth. The variety is highly susceptible to scab and also shows susceptibility to fire blight.

Fruits are large, weighing 150–200 g, round-conical or flattened in shape. The skin is smooth, waxy, and light yellow with a slight red-pink blush. The flesh is light yellow, juicy, and crisp. Fruits are intended for fresh consumption, can be stored until January–March, and have low transportability due to delicate skin.
