Variety description

The variety is late-winter, with fruits harvested in late October. The apples have an oblate-conical shape, ranging from small to medium size, with thick dark red skin and yellowish juicy flesh. The fruit taste is spicy, bittersweet with a distinct wine-like undertone.

The tree is moderately vigorous and shows a tendency toward alternate bearing. The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination. Moderate resistance to powdery mildew is noted. In cases of high yield, thinning of the ovaries is recommended to maintain fruit quality.

The fruits have high keeping quality and are suitable for storage from three to six months. The variety is versatile in its use: suitable for fresh consumption, production of juices, cider, and culinary processing.
