The fruits are large or very large, round-conical or flattened in shape. The skin is yellow-green, becoming orange-yellow with red-orange stripes or a blush upon ripening. The flesh is cream-white, firm, juicy, possesses a nutty flavor and a sweet-sour taste.
The tree is vigorous, forming a wide, powerful and dense crown. The variety is late-fruiting, entering bearing at about 10 years when grown on its own roots, and is prone to biennial bearing. It is demanding of soils, susceptible to bitter pit and canker, and tolerates severe winters poorly.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
