The variety is the result of crossing the parental forms SQ 159 and Honeycrisp. The harvest period occurs at the end of August. The fruits possess a bright red color, sweet taste, and high juiciness, while the flesh is characterized by a crisp texture. The preliminary storage period for the fruits is up to January.

The plant possesses resistance to scab. The variety is prone to biennial bearing, therefore thinning of the fruit load is required to ensure regular yields. When grown on M.9 rootstock, it is recommended to form the crown as a "slender spindle".
