Variety description

The variety is a descendant of the SQ159 and Honeycrisp apple trees. The tree has medium vigor and forms a spreading, well-branched crown. The variety is prone to biennial bearing, which requires crop load management to maintain regularity.

The fruit is medium to large in size, conical in shape, with a pink-red striped color and a fresh sweet-and-sour flavor. The variety possesses genetic resistance to scab and resistance to powdery mildew, with moderate susceptibility to fruit tree canker.

The apple tree is not self-fertile. Elstar, WUR37, and other compatible varieties are recommended as pollinators. To achieve optimal harvest quality and fruit size, crop load management is required.
