The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Golden Delicious and SJ109. The tree is characterized by medium to high vigor. Fruit maturity occurs 5–7 days after the ripening of the Golden Delicious variety.

The fruits are medium-sized, about 7.2 cm in diameter, with a round and slightly asymmetric shape. The skin is yellow with an orange blush and visible lenticels. The flesh is firm, moderately juicy, with a sugar content of about 14.5 °Brix. The fruits have the ability to keep for up to 2–3 months when stored in a standard refrigerator.
