The variety is a seedling apple tree discovered in the Oze/Gockels area, Schleswig-Holstein. The age of the mother tree is about 80 years; the variety is included in lists of rare regional cultivars.
Fruits are medium-sized, with an uneven, angular shape and pronounced ribs. The ground color of the skin is yellow, with a diffused red blush and stripes on the sunny side, complemented by small dots. The variety is characterized as a table apple with an aromatic, spicy taste.
