The variety forms a tree with a height from 2.5 to 5 meters depending on the rootstock. The fruits are small, round, slightly flattened, with yellow-green skin adorned with red marble stripes or streaks.

The fruits are ready for harvest at the end of September; their storage period lasts until the end of December. The variety is distinguished by a sweet taste, soft consistency, and aroma; it is used fresh, for baking, drying, and making puree.

The tree is characterized as very healthy. The issue of self-fertility of the variety remains debated: some sources indicate an ability for self-pollination, others recommend the presence of pollinator varieties such as Brabantse Bellefleur or Sterappel.
