The fruits ripen at the end of September and have a yellow-green color with a red blush. The taste is sweet, and a slight acidity may persist in the fruits until mid-December. The variety is not self-fertile; Cox's Orange Pippin, James Grieve, and Sterappel are suitable for cross-pollination; the variety itself can also act as a pollinator.

An adult tree reaches a height of 6–8 meters and has a semi-open spherical crown. The flowering period occurs in April–May; the white-pink flowers are fragrant. The variety is characterized as wind-resistant, and winter hardiness corresponds to zones 6A–8B.

The plant prefers fertile soils, such as loess, sandy loam, and loam, with a neutral or alkaline pH. The variety belongs to the traditional category and is often used as an ornamental fruit crop in parks, gardens, and food forest projects.
