The variety Zoete Aagt, also known as Dubbele Zoete Aagt, originates from the province of Groningen. Fruits of medium size have a slightly elongated shape, yellow skin with a red blush and small gray dots. The flesh of the fruit is yellowish-white, firm, fine-grained and juicy.

The tree is characterized by moderately vigorous growth and early onset of bearing. The variety possesses good resistance to common fruit crop diseases. Due to its growth properties, the tree is sometimes used as an interstock for other apple varieties.
