The variety has an erect stem. The fall dormancy index is about 2, which corresponds to a moderate degree of dormancy and slower development in the autumn period.

In field trials, the variety demonstrated resistance levels from 'Resistant' (R) to 'Highly Resistant' (HR) to Phytophthora root rot, anthracnose, bacterial wilt, and Fusarium wilt. Yield and forage quality indicators depend on the chosen mowing regime.
