The variety is intended for use as a forage crop in the form of grazing, hay, or silage. It belongs to highly active varieties with a winter activity rating of 9 on the Australian scale, which ensures intensive growth during the warm season and continued vegetation in the autumn-winter period.

The plant has an erect habit, is well-leafed, and the flowers are colored in a dark blue-violet shade. During the selection of the variety, the method of mass selection for survival under conditions of exposure to salt solutions was used. The variety is characterized by high resistance to major alfalfa diseases.
