The variety was derived from the genetic material of Hunter River and CUF 101. Plants have an erect growth habit, thin stems, and well-developed leafiness. Flowers are colored in shades of purple and blue; seeds are characterized by a large size.
The plant is intended for irrigated conditions or regions with high rainfall levels, effective for silage and hay production. The variety exhibits tolerance to anthracnose and Phytophthora root rot, maintaining stable dry matter productivity over several seasons.
