The variety is high-yielding and suitable for both pure sowing and use in mixtures with perennial grasses such as timothy, meadow fescue, and ryegrass. The variety is recognized as suitable for use in organic farming.
The plant is distinguished by its ability to regrow rapidly after mowing, producing three cuts per growing season. It persists in the sward for 4–6 years. It possesses stable seed productivity, which in favorable years amounts to 200–400 kg/ha.
Morphologically, the variety is a tetraploid with dark violet flowers. It is less demanding regarding growing conditions and can be cultivated on soils with a pH KCl of 5.8–6.2, provided there is a calcareous subsoil layer.
