The VUKA variety was developed at the Agricultural Institute in Osijek and is part of Croatia's domestic breeding. In scientific research, it is characterized as having good production potential and stable yield indicators.
The plant is used to produce green mass, hay, and haylage. The variety is also used as an object of scientific experiments for studying the genetic diversity and phenotypic characteristics of alfalfa.
