The variety belongs to the second group on the fall dormancy scale. Its genetic composition includes contributions from M. falcata (16%), Ladak (14%), M. varia (21%), Turkistan (13%), and Flemish alfalfa (36%).
The intended use of the variety is hay and haylage production. During trials, the variety demonstrated good nutritional value indicators at the first cut and underwent evaluation for resistance to a number of diseases, including bacterial and Fusarium wilt, anthracnose, and Phytophthora root rot.
