The variety belongs to group 7 on the fall dormancy scale, which ensures a long growing season with the possibility of obtaining up to 6 cuts per year. The plant is characterized by a deep root system, which contributes to maintaining productivity during dry periods.

Zenith demonstrates a high protein yield and a good rate of regrowth after mowing. The variety possesses resistance to anthracnose and Verticillium wilt, as well as increased resistance to lodging compared to average control values. The productivity of the variety is maintained for 3–4 years after sowing.
