The variety is the result of selection from the Ypati 84 variety, which originates from Hungarian populations. Plants have an erect growth habit, are distinguished by thin stems and a high leaf-to-stem ratio. The dormancy index is 6.5.
The variety demonstrates stable yield of green mass and dry matter, maintaining good stand density over a long period of utilization. High regeneration capacity after mowing is noted, however, the variety is susceptible to Fusarium wilt.
