The variety is an annual form of white sweet clover. The plant has higher requirements for heat, moisture, and nutrients compared to biennial forms. Mature specimens reach a height of 150 cm or more. It has a taproot system, an erect stem, and small trifoliate leaves with serrated edges.

The flowers are white and gathered in raceme inflorescences. The seeds are located in single-seeded pods and range in color from yellow to yellow-brown. The variety is intended primarily for cultivation on reclaimed land and is less suitable for forage purposes. Breeding was carried out by selecting annual forms from a population of biennial sweet clover.
