The plant forms small light-blue inflorescences. It belongs to the category of early-flowering varieties; when grown in protected cultivation, flowering can occur as early as January.

The variety is undemanding; well-drained garden areas with a sunny location or pot culture are suitable for its cultivation. Used for spring arrangements, rock gardens, and forcing.
