The racemose-type inflorescences have a delicate porcelain-blue hue, which gradually changes to white as flowering progresses. Peduncle height is from 10 to 15 cm, sometimes reaching 20–30 cm. Leaves are linear, dark green, located at the base; peduncles usually rise above them.

Flowering occurs in April–May. The variety is hardy, possesses good winter hardiness (zones 3–4), and is capable of naturalization. The plant is undemanding, propagates easily, and prefers well-drained soils and sites from full sun to partial shade.

The variety is versatile in use: suitable for commercial cut flower production, pot culture cultivation, as well as for planting in borders and rock gardens.
