The variety was created as a result of applying induced mutagenesis methods, such as fast neutron irradiation and treatment with diethyl sulfate. The plant belongs to the Virginia type and is characterized by a shortened growing season compared to traditional varieties.

The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and Agrotis segetum. The produce is characterized by high technological indicators suitable for cultivation as Virginia-type tobacco raw material.
