Variety description

The variety is an Oriental tobacco with a stem height of 140 to 160 cm. The inflorescences have a spherical shape, are high-positioned, and are characterized by a loose structure with 4–5 main branches. The leaves of the middle tier have an elliptical or narrow-elliptical shape and are smooth and medium in density.

The vegetation period of the variety is about 60 days. The variety shows resistance to powdery mildew and common tobacco mosaic, and is also resistant to lodging and stem necrosis. Yield under standard conditions varies from 1300 to 1700 kg/ha, and the nicotine content is 0.9–2.0%.

The variety's production is suitable for natural fermentation. The content of soluble carbohydrates in the raw material is in the range of 6.5–19.5%.
