The variety belongs to the Bulgarian Oriental tobacco group. It is actively used in breeding, agrotechnical, and biochemical research for comparative analysis of flavonoid, phenolic acid, and micro- and macroelement content.

The plant does not possess specific resistance to major tobacco diseases. The variety is distinguished by high flavonoid content and is used as a reference sample when studying chemical compounds in tobacco smoke.
