The variety is mid-late, with a growing period of about 80 days. Plants reach a height of 180 cm and are distinguished by an increased number of leaves with short internodes, which reduces the risk of damage during harvesting. Topping at the level of 22–26 leaves is recommended.

The plant possesses resistance to tobacco vein mottling virus, tobacco etch virus, potato virus Y, black root rot, black shank, and wildfire. Leaves have a light green hue upon ripening, and acquire a reddish-brown color after air-curing.

The variety is used as a filler and component of cigarette blends, and also serves as a parent form in breeding programs.
