Trapezous is a historically established type of Oriental tobacco. It belongs to varieties intended for sun-curing and is traditionally used in the production of tobacco blends.

The leaves of this tobacco are distinguished by a light yellow or reddish hue, thin texture, good elasticity, pronounced luster, and high combustibility indicators.

The name Trapezous combines a number of breeding lines that may vary in characteristics. In amateur tobacco cultivation, varieties of this type are often described as mid-season, productive, and resistant to diseases.
