The variety belongs to traditional Herzegovina types of tobacco. Its breeding was conducted with the aim of improving local varieties and transferring genes for resistance to Meloidogyne spp. nematodes, for which crossing with the NC-95 variety was used.

Scientific studies of the variety focused on the analysis of the chemical composition of the leaves, including mineral substances, which determine the burning quality and economic value of this type of tobacco. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant are not presented in open data.
