The variety belongs to the group of bright tobacco of the Virginia type intended for flue-curing. In breeding work, it has proven itself as a high-quality source material used for developing lines resistant to black root rot caused by the fungus Thielaviopsis basicola.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to black root rot and potato virus Y. According to the results of studies on alkaloid content, the variety is distinguished by a high level of nicotine, with an indicator of approximately 15.76 mg/g.
