The plant belongs to the Genovese type and possesses the typical appearance of Italian basil. The leaves are large, smooth, spoon-shaped, and bright green in color. The variety is characterized by the ability for rapid regeneration after cutting and has intermediate resistance to basil downy mildew.
The variety is intended for commercial cultivation in the open field, production of cut herbs, bouquet formation, as well as for pot culture, including during cold periods of the year. The produce is used both fresh and for industrial processing.
