The tree is characterized by high vigor and has an open canopy shape with high density. The variety shows high drought tolerance and adapts well to difficult, calcareous, and saline soils. It possesses resistance to leaf spot, but is moderately sensitive to olive knot.

The fruits of the variety have a medium oil content, characterized by a balance of herbaceous notes, bitterness, and pungency. The harvest is primarily used for oil production, and less frequently for table olives. Due to the high fruit detachment force, harvesting is difficult and poorly suited to mechanization.
