The variety is characterized by rapid spring development and the ability to regrow intensively after mowing, allowing for up to 2–3 cuts per year. Hay yield reaches 8 t/ha; seed yield during the second cut varies from 8 to 15 c/ha.

The plant adapts well to various soil types, preferably calcareous, but does not tolerate waterlogging. The hay of the variety is distinguished by high nutritional value and contains condensed tannins that improve digestion in ruminants and have an anthelmintic effect.

The variety is used as a forage crop, often acting as an alternative to alfalfa on difficult or less fertile soils in hilly and mountainous terrain. It can be used both in monoculture and as part of grass mixtures.
