The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant. The essential oil content ranges from 0.54% of fresh weight to 0.45% of absolutely dry weight. A characteristic feature of the chemical composition is the absence of the phenols thymol and carvacrol in the oil.

When grown under drip irrigation, the variety demonstrates a dependence of dry herb yield on plant density. The raw material of the variety is used in the pharmaceutical, perfume and cosmetic, and food industries.
