The variety belongs to the japonica subspecies and is adapted to cultivation conditions in regions with temperate climates, including the Ebro River Delta. Morphological and agronomic characteristics of the variety are being studied within the framework of rice genetics programs.

In scientific research, the variety serves as an object for studying the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on plant development. It has been established that mycorrhizal inoculation stimulates shoot growth and increases yield on low-fertility soils. Quantitative trait loci (QTLs) responsible for the number of grains per panicle have also been identified for the variety, and an assessment of resistance to rice blast is being conducted.
