The variety was obtained by hybridization and individual selection from parent forms Jopyong and Osmancik 97. It was initially tested under the breeding number KR027.

Plants reach a height of 92 cm, panicle length is 20.5 cm. Grain is of medium type, vitreous, with a thousand kernel weight of 30 g, test weight of 54 kg, and protein content of 8.64%.

The variety has good resistance to lodging and fungal diseases, such as Pyricularia oryzae, Helminthosporium oryzae and Fusarium graminearum. Resistance to shattering is medium.
