The variety was obtained by hybridization of the lines Unkwang and Ece. The plant forms a panicle 21.8 cm long, containing an average of 110 grains. The grain has a medium-type vitreous structure, the thousand kernel weight is 30 g, and the grain bulk density is 54 kg.

The plant has good resistance to Pyricularia oryzae, Helminthosporium oryzae, and Fusarium graminearum diseases, and is also resistant to lodging. The protein content in the grain is 8.64% on a dry matter basis. The yield of paddy rice in tests amounted to 10 174 kg/ha.
